Simple Amigurumi Turtle
This beginner turtle crochet pattern is perfect for testing your skills before moving on to more advanced amigurumi patterns. The crochet sea turtle amigurumi is made with two yarn sizes and two crochet hooks.
Hi everyone!
On my first date with my hubby, we went to Ripley’s Aquarium in downtown Toronto, and I fell in love with the sea turtles. This amigurumi turtle was designed because I was trying to find a stuffed turtle to give him on Valentine’s Day. I couldn’t find one, so I decided to make my own.
This sea turtle crochet pattern was one of the first amigurumi patterns I ever designed and had a 5-star ranking on Etsy before I decided to make it free.
This crochet turtle uses two yarn and hook sizes, so it’s a great pattern to test your skills before you move on from beginner amigurumi patterns to intermediate.
I decided to update the pattern, polish the design, and use some new yarn while keeping it simple and close in aesthetic.
