Pickle Rick Crochet Pattern
“Flip the pickle, Morty! The payoff is huge!” I think the most stand out character from the Adult Swim cartoon Rick and Morty was Pickle Rick. Use this free crochet pattern to make your own Pickle Rick amigurumi, or crochet a plain pickle. Just don’t add the face!
Hi everyone!
I originally designed the Pickle Rick amigurumi in 2019 as a gift for a friend. I decided to revisit the design in 2022 and tweak it a little so this crochet Pickle Rick is plusher.
I can’t believe it was 3 years ago when I first designed this free Pickle Rick crochet pattern. It is wild to see your improvement over some time. I hadn’t noticed how I had improved over the years until I started looking at pictures of my old patterns and remaking them. See what I mean? You can constantly improve your amigurumi skills over time.
Use my Pickle Rick crochet pattern to make a regular adorable pickle plush!

Face:
1. Cut out two circles from the white felt for the eyes and two smaller black circles from the black felt for the pupils. Hot glue them together.
2. Cut out a curved piece from the blue felt for the unibrow above the eyes.
3. Cut out the mouth with black felt and cut out tiny pieces of white felt for the teeth. Cut out a tongue from the red felt. Hot glue everything together.
4. Hot glue the face onto the amigurumi. Use photos for reference.
I recommend using tweezers while attaching everything with the hot glue. This prevents your fingers from getting burnt. Since the teeth are so small, if you have some dried hot glue peeking out from the sides, you can color the dried glue with a black sharpie to blend in with the felt.
