Hi everyone!

I recently decided to give the yarn Sweet Snuggles by Loops & Threads a go and design this adorable Story of Season’s cow plushie for you. This Harvest Moon cow crochet pattern is not for beginners. I suggest being at an intermediate level before making this cow amigurumi.

I didn’t plan to design this crochet cow to be so chubby, but Bessie here turned out giant. Oh well, who doesn’t love a good chunky amigurumi?

Growing up, my brother and I had a Nintendo 64 that we had to share, and one of our favorite games was Harvest Moon 64 (the best Harvest Moon game of all time). The cows were always so adorable.

Now that Friends of Mineral Town was remade under the Story of Seasons title, I relived my childhood as Mineral Town had the same mechanics, characters, and storyline as Harvest Moon 64. I’ve wanted to make a crochet pattern for the Story of Season cows for a while now.

I think my Story of Season’s cow plush turned out lovely, but I disliked so many things about Sweet Snuggles.

Clicking on certain links may result in a small commission for me at no extra cost to you. Money generated from this allows me to continue to design and post cute amigurumi patterns for you all!

The pattern is worked in the round so a stitch marker is recommended. All pieces are started with the ch 2 method, but a crochet magic circle can be used instead. Your finished cow should measure 11" x 6" x 18".
